# The invoice delivery object

The invoice delivery object in the Shortcut API - every field, an example, and the endpoints that return it.

What sending an invoice or a reminder queued.

## Fields

| Field             | Type                                                                     | Description                                                                                                                       |
| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `object`          | `"invoice_delivery"`                                                     | Always `invoice_delivery`.                                                                                                        |
| `purpose`         | `invoice`, `reminder`                                                    | `invoice` when the invoice was sent, `reminder` for a reminder.                                                                   |
| `queuedChannels`  | array of `email`, `sms`                                                  | Channels handed to delivery. Queued is not delivered: the customer's email preferences and SMS opt-out still apply when it sends. |
| `skippedChannels` | array of string                                                          | Channels not sent, each with the reason the app gives, such as no email on file or the customer opted out.                        |
| `failedChannels`  | array of string                                                          | Channels that could not be queued; retry later.                                                                                   |
| `invoice`         | [invoice](/developers/api-reference/reference/objects/invoice.md) object | The invoice after the send.                                                                                                       |
