# QuickBooks integration

Shortcut syncs with **QuickBooks Online** so your books match your operations without double entry. Open the **settings cog → All settings → QuickBooks** (under Integrations).

## What syncs

Customers, services, invoices, payments, refunds, and credits.

## Connect

1. Open the QuickBooks integration page.
2. Click connect and sign in to QuickBooks Online.
3. Choose your **sync start date** — Shortcut syncs activity from that date forward.
4. Finish setup. The page shows your connection status, company, last successful sync, and whether setup is complete.

## Is it syncing?

Come back to the same page any time to see the **last successful sync** and connection status. If something looks stale, disconnect and reconnect, or contact support.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Voiding and reissuing an invoice works slightly differently once QuickBooks is connected — the reissued invoice starts as an editable draft before it's sent, so the correction lands cleanly in your books.
{% endhint %}
