# Remind / resend an invoice

If a customer didn’t see an invoice (or hasn’t paid yet), you can resend it using **Remind**.

## When to use this

* The customer says they didn’t receive the invoice
* The invoice is still unpaid and you want to follow up

## Before you start

* The invoice must exist in **Invoices** and not be paid or void

## Steps

### Go to Finances

Open the Finances area.

### Find the invoice

Locate the invoice in the list.

### Click Remind

Click the **Remind** button for the invoice.

### Confirm

Confirm the reminder action.

## Expected result

The customer receives the invoice again (same invoice, resent) by **email and SMS** — whichever they have on file. Automated overdue reminders are separate — see [Automations](/readme/automations.md).

## Common issues

The invoice is already paid or void — there's nothing to remind about.

<summary>Customer still can’t find it</summary>

Confirm their email/phone is correct in their profile, then remind again.
