# Calendar

Calendar is the planning view for your scheduled stops. Pick a day, week, or month; see every stop grouped by crew; and move work by dragging or with the **Move stop** window. [Open Calendar →](https://shortcutco.com/calendar)

{% hint style="info" %}
**Calendar plans ordered stops, not clock times.** A stop's position in the crew's day is what matters — Shortcut doesn't pin visits to exact times.
{% endhint %}

## Views

* **Day** — each crew is a column of ordered stops. Best for fine-tuning a single day.
* **Week** — seven day columns. Toggle **Split** to see every crew's lane inside each day.
* **Month** — a summary (stop counts and a few customer chips per day). Click a day to jump into it.

## Moving work

* **Drag and drop** (desktop): reorder within a crew's day, or drag a stop to another crew or day.
* **Move stop window** (works everywhere, including mobile): open a stop's menu and choose **Move to…**, **Reschedule**, or **Reassign crew** — all three open the same window where you pick the date, crew, and route position.
* **Unscheduled drawer**: jobs waiting to be scheduled live in the drawer. Click **Schedule** on one to place it on a date/crew.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Moves affect **only the visit you move**. Recurring jobs keep their cadence — to shift a whole series, use **Reschedule → This and all future events** from the job instead.
{% endhint %}

## Finding things

* **Search** filters stops by customer, address, or service. (Drag is paused while searching.)
* **Filters** for crew, service, and status. Stop colors always show **status**; each stop still carries its crew's named dot, so you can read both at once.
* **Map** — open the route map panel to see the filtered stops plotted.

## Good to know

* Completed and canceled stops stay visible for history but can't be moved.
* Jobs are created elsewhere (proposals, the customer profile, or the Jobs page) — Calendar schedules and moves them.
* Month view doesn't support drag; on mobile, use the Move stop window instead of dragging.
