2) Create services (so you can quote)

Outcome: You can build proposals using your real offerings.

What you’ll do

• Create 3–5 core services

• Choose the correct pricing structure for each

Steps

Create a service

Open Settings → Operations → Services, then click Create service. (To open Settings, click your name at the bottom-left of the sidebar, then Settings.)

Name and describe

Enter a customer-friendly Name (example: “Lawn mowing”).

(Optional) Add a Description.

Choose pricing

Choose a Price structure:

• Flat fee

• Per hour

• Per sq ft (optionally with size tiers)

• Per man-hour (bill by actual crew time)

Most services fit Flat fee or Per sq ft. See Services (pricing structures) for how tiers and man-hour billing work.

Set default rate

(Optional) Set a default Rate.

Save

Click Save.

Expected result

Your service appears in the service picker when creating a proposal.

Doing chemical work? You can also create a Chemical service (one-time treatment) from the same window — see Chemicals.

Our recommendations:

• Set default rates for common services.

• Adjust the quantity later on proposals (hours / sq ft / flat amount).
