# 3) Add a lead and send a proposal

Outcome: A customer receives a proposal they can accept.

### What you’ll do

* Add a lead (with contact info)
* Build a proposal using services or a template
* Send by email/SMS

### Steps

### Go to Leads

Open **Customers** — leads live in the Customers workspace.

### Add a lead

Click **Add Lead**.

### Enter contact and property info

Fill in first name, last name, email, phone number, and property location.

### Build the proposal

Click into the proposal/estimate flow and add services.

### Send the proposal

Send the proposal via email, SMS, or both.

### Expected result

The proposal is sent and the person appears in **Prospects** (waiting for acceptance).
